I. The Guiding Principal:  Jesus Christ has first claim on the life of all saved people (Matt. 6:33).

II. Purpose of our church:

A. Teaching God’s Word (Acts 2:42)

B. Fellowship of the believers (Acts 2:42)

C. Worship (Acts 2:42)

D. Prayer (Acts 2:42)

E. Maturing people for the ministry (Eph. 4:11-12; 2 Tim. 2:2)

III. Ministry of the Word

A. Clearly preach and teach the Bible.

B. Develop a heart for worship and prayer.

C. Reaching the entire family, both in our church and in our surrounding area.

D. Develop a burden for soul winning and discipleship.

E. Develop a burden for missions.

F. Develop a burden for the needy in the area:  nursing home, prison ministry, etc.

IV. Ministry to/of the People

A. Develop a servant’s heart in the people.

B. Reaching and developing men who have the confidence to lead in various ministries.

C. To realize that the children’s/youth ministry is the heart of our ministry.

D. Emphasize that the goal of our children’s/youth ministry is to produce godly young people who will go into the ministry, unless the Lord directs otherwise.
